We recently read that "you don't own a Boston Terrier, it owns you". Our experience this week suggests that is true. Our new owner, Beans, arrived on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
We met Beans at the farm where she was born and raised, south of Akron, Ohio. She comes from good stock - her father was a champion at the Westminster dog show in 2003. (The cat is not related.)
Several members of Beans' extended family were on hand to say goodbye.
Back in Indianapolis, there were lots of new things to sniff and explore.
It was a long, tiring day for a little puppy.
On Thanksgiving day there were several new laps to sit in...
...and to nap in.
